For the past 10 years, HairToStay has never said “no” to an eligible patient seeking financial assistance for scalp cooling.

Thanks to this incredible community, we’ve awarded more than $5.6 million to help 9,000+ low-income patients preserve their hair during chemotherapy. But the need continues to grow, with subsidy approvals already up 25% over last year.

⭐️ SAVEITFORWARD SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

This past weekend marked the 6th Annual Kelly Pyle Fund Golf Outing in Pinckney, Michigan.

Kelly discovered scalp cooling after being diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma just six months before her wedding. Determined to preserve a sense of normalcy during treatment, she became the very first patient to use scalp cooling at her medical facility in Michigan.

That experience inspired Kelly to pay it forward.

Through her SaveItForward campaign, Kelly created a targeted fund which provides financial assistance for scalp cooling to patients across Michigan, ensuring others have access to the same option that meant so much to her during treatment.

We are incredibly grateful that after facing cancer herself, Kelly has turned her experience into action

Scalp cooling is a treatment that can reduce chemotherapy-induced hair loss (alopecia) and help promote regrowth, allowing cancer patients to maintain a sense of confidence and control during treatment.

The challenge?
Scalp cooling is expensive, and insurance rarely covers it.

The size of someone’s wallet should never determine whether they can keep their hair during one of the hardest moments of their life.

That’s why Cap My Crown partners with HairToStay, the first and only national nonprofit dedicated to helping low-income cancer patients afford scalp cooling.
