Heartfelt Thank You for a Successful Hungarian Heritage Festival!
Dear Organizers, Volunteers, Vendors, and Performers,
I am writing to extend my sincerest gratitude to each and every one of you for your exceptional contributions to the recent Hungarian Heritage Festival. Thanks to your hard work, dedication, and talent, the festival was a resounding success, showcasing the rich culture and traditions of Hungary to our community.
To the organizers, Victoria Szabo-Lengyel (Co-Chair), Gitta Ungvari, Ildiko Pataki Jackovics, Ilka Dajka, Katalin Persik Lazar, Carmen Trefil, Kitti Gábos -Horhi, Attila Egyedi, László Velinszky, László Lengyel thank you for your exceptional leadership and tireless efforts in planning and executing every detail of the festival. Your commitment to excellence ensured that everything ran smoothly, and your passion for Hungarian culture was evident in every aspect of the event.
To the volunteers, (especially Eszter Velinszky Maklari-booklet, Imre Somogyi, Gábor Tormasi, Balazs Varga-stage décor) thank you for your selfless commitment and enthusiastic support throughout the festival. Your hard work behind the scenes did not go unnoticed, and your positive attitudes were truly infectious.
To the vendors, (Hungarian Catholic Mission, Hungarian Reformed Church of SF, Hungarian Scout Troops 43&77, Örly Museum of Hungarian Culture, East Bay Hungarian School, Hungary Bees, Buborè, Zsolt Katay, Vanilla Bakery), thank you for providing us with a wonderful selection of Hungarian food, crafts, and products. Your participation added to the authenticity of the festival and helped create a truly immersive experience for all attendees.
To the performers (from Hungary: Istvan Berecz, Ilka Dajka, Agnes and Istvan Vámosi, Zagyva Banda, Eszter Zámborszky, - Forrás Banda from Canada, Karpatok Folk Ensemble from Los Angeles, - Eszterlanc Folk Ensemble, Mazsola Children Dance Group , Diana Pray Soprano, Judit Fischer Soprano, First California Hussar Regiment, Harangvirag Playhouse) thank you for sharing your incredible talents with us. Your performances were captivating, and you brought the spirit of Hungary to life through music, dance, and art.
Dear Ildiko Pataki-Jackovics and Anna Lazar,
Thank you both for being the fantastic MCs at our Hungarian festival! Your charisma and energy kept the event lively and engaging for everyone. We’re grateful for your contribution to making the festival a success.
