There are two services being held for Bishop Richard Stanuikynas. He is also known in the community as a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence, Sister Honey, Be! The Sisters will honor him on Friday, June 1st in the Castro and the Scattering of Ashes will be Sunday, June 3rd at the National AIDS Memorial Grove in Golden Gate Park, details below:
"The Darshon will take place at 8:30 on Fri June 1st. We will gather between 8-8:30 at the Pink Triangle memorial park at the intersection of Market/Castro/& 17th streets. There will be a centering moment and then a procession to 18th & Castro where people can share memories of Sister HoneyBe!"
"The memorial service and Scattering of Ashes will be at the AIDS Memorial Grove. We will gather at 3pm and his service will be at 3:30pm. If you have stories to share but cannot make it please post your story her or send it by Messenger and it will be read out loud during the service"
