We want to highlight Associated Students Project Rebound Office Coordinator Gabriel Singer for earning the CSU Trustee Award as the 2025-2026 CSU Trustee Jack McGrory Scholar / Hearst Foundations Scholar! He recently earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Studies and minor in Prison Reentry Studies, with the help of AS Project Rebound, a program he proudly represents. He is on-track to receiving his masters degree as a graduate in International Relations Studies

From Nov 1969, the students of SF State launched the longest college strike in U.S. history. The Black Student Union and Third World Liberation Front spearheaded the movement, resulting in the creation of the Cesar Chavez Student Center, Educational Opportunity Program, and the nations first Ethnic Studies program.
