CityCamp SF is back on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 2pm - 6pm at The Commons in Hayes Valley! CityCamp SF is a one-day unconference — a participant-driven gathering where anyone can propose, lead, or join sessions about the issues and opportunities shaping life in San Francisco. Instead of a pre-set agenda, the day starts with an empty schedule (“The Wall”) and a room full of people ready to share ideas, skills, and solutions. Register and join us at: https://c4sf.me/citycamp

How can San Franciscans support STEM education in our public schools?

Join the San Francisco Education Fund, SF Civic Tech, and Good Neighbor Lab for an engaging evening on Tuesday, April 14 at 6pm exploring how our community can show up for students.

A panel of Computer Science educators and technology partners in SF will share their insights on community engagement. Hear what students are learning about in STEM classes and how to get involved. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided.

If you’d like to attend, please email Ron at [email protected] or RSVP online at: https://c4sf.me/rsvp

Curious about the work and impact of SF Civic Tech? Read our latest blog post, Walking With Purpose: Celebrating the Legacy of Let's Walk! And please consider making a donation to our end-of-year fundraising drive to help us continue in 2026!

Since 2019, the Let’s Walk program has brought thousands of San Franciscans together, one step at a time. What began as a modest pilot evolved into a community-powered walking challenge that blended technology, sports, and public health—reaching hundreds of families in neighborhoods with some of...

This Giving Tueday, please consider donating to SF Civic Tech! We just launched the org's first ever holiday fundraiser and we're hoping to raise $10,000 by the end of the month. SF Civic Tech is an incredibly scrappy non-profit that is providing a key service to the community independently, after Code for America withdrew its fiscal sponsorship of Code for San Francisco. As you know, SF Civic Tech plays a unique role in the city and the Bay Area, as well as the national tech for good community, providing not only workforce development and job readiness training for people looking to upskill, but also filling key gaps in civic technology services in San Francisco. It's a magical combination of skill building, meaningful work, and strong teams. Please donatee this holiday season to the extent you are able, so this great org we all love can continue to exist. Thank you! Donate to our campaign at: https://c4sf.me/donate
