The future of Sunday Streets is under threat, and we need all hands on deck to turn out in support of this incredible program‼️
For the past 17 years, Sunday Streets has reclaimed our streets for people-first activations that foster community, joy, and connectedness. The program has also provided SFBike car-free spaces for us to host free bicycle education and pop-up bike repair all over the city where we have taught hundreds of participants how to ride bikes on car-free streets.
Defunding Sunday streets affects us all for the worst, taking away opportunities to experience car-free public spaces, uplift thriving local businesses, and showcase the rich art and culture our city and communities have to offer.
Help us defend this priceless program. Show up to the rally on Tuesday and plan to make a public comment either in person or via phone call.
