It’s perfect weather tomorrow ☀️ Come join our community partner, We Are OMI, for their community clean-up! We’re meeting at M Stop Deli before fanning out with gloves, good vibes, and maybe a little trash talk (the good kind). Let’s clean up the OMI and make our neighborhood shine—see you there!

We have an Earth Day surprise hotter than Dolo in a heatwave. 🌞🖼️

Heart Your Parks screen prints are back! We dug into the vault and unearthed a stash of vintage designs, just in time for Earth Day. 🌎✨

Swing by the Earth Day Festival at Yerba Buena Gardens on Saturday, April 19 and snag our 2024 Golden Gate Park print (or maybe even a rare gem from the Parks Alliance vault). Suggested donation supports the parks you love, and it’ll look great on your wall.

We’re teaming up with to bring you a spooky good Sundown Cinema screening of John Carpenter’s NorCal cult classic, The Fog! Haunted lighthouses, eerie coastlines, and 80s vibes, what more could you want?

🌫️ The Fog might roll in for this outdoor screening, so bring a folding chair, blanket, and beanie.

🎟️ As always, Sundown Cinema is totally free — but reserved seating goes fast. Hit that link in bio to claim your spot!

🌊 For decades, part of SF’s waterfront was off limits. The shore of India Basin was polluted, toxic, and unusable.

But San Franciscans like you imagined something better. Now? Clean water, open space, and access for the first time in generations. 💙

Parks across SF still need our help. With massive budget cuts on the table, we’re raising $250K this April to keep our city moving toward a clean, safe, and welcoming future. 🌱

Will you chip in today? Tap the link in our bio to give.

What if you couldn’t visit your favorite park? 😳

Dolores Park isn’t ~literally~ disappearing, but without care, the things that make your favorite park such a great vibe could vanish. 💨

💔 Unsafe and unmaintained playgrounds
💡 Poor lighting
🗑️ Overflowing trash bins

SF is facing an $800M budget shortfall, and parks are on the chopping block. That’s why we’re raising $250K this April to keep our parks clean, safe, and open to all.

Are you in? Tap the link in our bio to donate! 💚

This January, SMU DataArts ranked San Francisco as one of the most “Arts-Vibrant” cities in the US for the second year in a row! San Francisco also ranked first in the nation in total compensation for staff and artists by nonprofit arts organizations🌁🎨

In celebration of another year of incredible public art, here are some of our favorite projects we worked on in 2024✨

1. Virginia Garden Walk (Bernal Heights) by Amos Goldbaum
2. 20th & Alabama Street (Mission District) by Josué Rojas
3. Minnesota & 22nd Street (Dogpatch) by Matley Hurd & Josué Rojas
4. 1080 Folsom Street (SOMA) by Amanda Lynn
5. Ledyard Alley (Silver Terrace/Bayview) by OrluArts
6. Burnside Steps (Glen Park) by Twin Walls Mural Company

Park lovers like you helped us make a big impact on San Francisco in 2024. We've rounded up every public space project - big and small - that we completed last year, from park renovations to tiled stairways and revitalized alleys.

Here are some quick highlights:
🎥 We hosted seven Sundown Cinema Movie Nights at seven parks across the city.
🍃 We opened the first section of the new India Basin Waterfront Park in Bayview-Hunters Point.
🎨 We worked with neighbors to install five street murals on Slow Streets across the city.
🛝 We renovated Richmond Playground, the 11th playground of our Let’sPlaySF! playground renovations.

This essential work can’t happen without you. Thank you for your support, and here’s to another year of making San Francisco a better place, in ways big and small!

You can find a full recap of our projects last year in our 2024 impact report, linked below🔗https://info.sfparksalliance.org/e/883543/2025-01-2024-Impact-Report-pdf/2xz7z8/872685934/h/0xt9H7Zl5Y5ZxRZkcFUNZwxQhkpgzDtnfPQaOFAj2Hg

All we can say is THANK YOU🙌 Our year-end fundraiser raised over $600k for SF parks and public spaces, almost double our goal! We've never seen such an outpouring of support for our public spaces🍃

Gifts to SF Parks Alliance fund our work to transform parks and public spaces across San Francisco, making our city cleaner, safer, and more welcoming for everyone🌁

We have big plans this year, and we'll share more about our upcoming work soon. In the meantime, we're celebrating this incredible start to the year🎉

P.S. If you didn’t get a chance to donate to our year-end fundraiser, you can support our work year round by making a donation, becoming a member, or volunteering in SF parks. Visit sfparksalliance.org to learn more🔗
