Our annual SF Kiwi Campout on the beautiful Mendocino Coast is coming up fast, and we still have a few spots available!

The Great Kiwi Campout 2026 is approaching fast!!!
Saturday 5th – Monday 7th September 2026

Join fellow Kiwis on the stunning Mendocino Coast for an unforgettable weekend of camping, great kai (including some choice NZ lamb from our wonderful supporters at Atkins Ranch). We'll also have wine from Babich and other kiwi based wineries, and Headlands Brewing beer, �live music, trivia, and heaps of fun for the whole weekend.

Early Bird pricing has been extended until midnight this Friday, 7th of August!

This year, we've even added a one day ticket (for busy Kiwis and Kiwi's mates, who can't spend the whole weekend with us).

Kiwis are well aware of finite things in this world, like the Rugby World Cup finals coming up, crowning the ABs as best in the world, or the "sell by date" of a meat pie (that can possibly be ignored if there's no mold) etc etc...
Well.... we just want to remind you of a finite thing for our next big event, which is the Great Kiwi Campout 2026, up Mendocino way, over the Labour Day weekend in early September.

EARLY BIRD SALES FINISH AT 11:59:59 ON AUG 7

We decided to be nice and extend the pricing for a week until Aug 7 (origin ally July 31st), so that we could reach out to you people, as Kiwis are considered as a group, to be very slack, and don't buy tickets until the last moment.
Plus, it'll help you save a few dollars.
Another finite thing is the amount of campers we can accommodate on the land we use (Shout out to Robyn and Gower Smith for letting us raid their Llama farm!!!), so we have a limit on headcount, get in whilst you can!
We have also introduced for this year, a one day pass, so if members want, they can just head there for the big Saturday night party, with a local band and other local musicians performing, and all the neighbours popping in to say Hi, or on the Sunday, which is usually a mellow day (probably because of the party the previous night... bwahahahaha!)

Anyway, we'll remind you again one more time in a few days, and we'll have a major announcement about something extra this year for ticket buyers.

Happy Monday Kiwis (and their mates)!

The most excellent times were had at the Annual General Meeting and Summer Picnic, thanks to all those who attended, Grillmaster Alan D, and everyone who chipped in for setup and cleanup.
A massive thanks also goes out to everyone who bought a plate, the quality and range of food we had was outstanding!

We'll be uploading a big bunch of photos shortly.

OK Kiwis, and anyone else for that matter....
At about this time tomorrow (Noon, Sunday July 26th, 2026), we'll be tucking into some NZ lamb chops, or lamb burgers donated by those excellent people at Atkins Ranch... They're great employees at Atkins, and they've been very kind to SF Kiwis for years, and the lamb is mmmmmmmmm and has always been mouthwateringly good..
Do yer good self a favour and grab some Atkins Ranch lamb whenever you can.
Anyway, we digress.

Tomorrow, starting at 11AM, at the Carousel Picnic and BBQ Area in Tilden Park, Berkeley, we'll be holding our Annual General Meeting, and having our Annual Summer Picnic, now that summer is here.
Note: the forecast is for very little cloud cover but not crazy hot, so sun screen is heavily advised. There are a few rows of trees to sit under at the picnic area, so bring a blanket or picnic chairs if you wish.

We'll have some waters and few beers, but it's BYO for beer and wine. Bring a plate as well if you can, in a good ol' Kiwi sharing manner, it can be starters, salad, dessert, cheese and crackers, whatever.... We've got all the BarbieQ tools, and a untold plastic utensils and plates and serviettes and condiments for ya!

We'll be running a a raffle, with lots of great prizes including NZ wines and Whittaker's chocolate and the like, and after the AGM, which, although the AGM should be short, it will give the younger kids time to at least digest some before running around like crazy people, because then .......
It's games time for all, Egg and Spoon races, Three Legged races, a Gumboot toss, loads of bouncy things to throw or kick, and the piece de resistance... The Sack Race!

Attn Kiwis and all others...
A big reminder that our Annual General Meeting and Summer Picnic is happening next Sunday at the Carousel picnic area in Tilden Park.
It's free to attend, and we'll have a bunch of NZ lamb for BBQ-ing from our mates at Atkins Ranch, as well as the basic picnic plates and utensils and charcoal and all that stuff.

We'll have a raffle to help pay the picnic area booking fee, and there'll be a bunch of classic Kiwi kid's games, like a sack race, three legged race, egg and spoon race, gumboot toss, and a lolly scramble as well... fun for all the little ones, and the adults pretending to be kids.....
Please bring a plate to share, picnic chairs and blankets etc, and a hat and sun cream, as we expect it to be a fairly sunny day.

Happy Friday Kiwis and friends.
Don't forget we're having our Annual General Meeting and Summer Picnic on Sunday July 26, at our usual spot in Tilden Park, Berkeley, at the Carousel picnic area (down from the actual Carousel/Roundabout).
Atkins Ranch have donated some lamb for the BBQ, and we've got all the chattels for cooking, but bring a plate to share.
We'll have a raffle, and classic Kiwi kid's games too!
