Since 2012, The Connection has been a space for Q***r Asian & Pacific Islander men to connect with their identity, peers, and take charge of their sexual health through the resources the program has offered. We thank all of our community members, partners and clients for the support as we embark on our new chapter. Thank you for the memories you've created with us, as we will cherish them forever.

This July 2023, we are excited to continue our long commitment to the Q***r API community, as we enter a new beginning. The Connection will now be known as The Lotus Project, a health and social space for Q***r Asian & Pacific Islander guys and Asian & Pacific Islander Trans women.

This new program is a new partnership with San Francisco Community Health Center & UCSF Alliance Health Project. Stay tuned to our page to learn of our resources, upcoming events, and how you can be involved.

This past Saturday, we hosted the first in-person meeting with our passionate group of volunteers at our new space.

It's always a pleasure to reconnect with this group and share the exciting news of our next chapter as we work closely with UCSF Alliance Health Project for the launch of a new API program.

Stigma around HIV/AIDS continues to be a barrier for Asian & Pacific Islander communities when it comes to accessing HIV prevention resources and care. Join us on May 19 during National Asian & Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day for a community event designed to highlight API experiences and wisdom related to HIV. Free rapid/confidential HIV & HEP C tests will be available on-site, as well as entertainment & refreshments.
