The Pacific Orchid Exposition (POE) is one of the best orchid shows in the United States, boasting unique plants and beautiful flowers from all over the globe, displayed by local, national and international orchid growers. The POE features displays that showcase the extreme diversity of orchids; outrageous variety in color, shape and sizes. Educational displays will teach you and your family about

these highly evolved and endlessly fascinating plants. Docent tours and cultivation tips are given to attendees as they peruse this magical orchid extravaganza, perfectly pairing aesthetics and education. The mission of the San Francisco Orchid Society (SFOS) is to foster the culture and cultivation of orchids and to promote education of its members and the public about orchids. The goals of the SFOS include the open exchange of information from exhibitions, publications and the Internet, maintaining a renowned reference library, and participation in worldwide orchid research and conservation efforts.
