🍂 Come build, harvest, soak, and gather with us at Fly Ranch Burning Man Project October 1-4th.

This fall, friends from across the Burning Man community are gathering on the Hualapai Flat for a few days of tending and being together.

It’s part Harvest Party, part Art Build Week, and part old-fashioned friends & family campout.

For us at Burners Without Borders (BwB) these kinds of gatherings are some of our favorite spaces: people showing up with what they know, what they can offer, and a willingness to get their hands dirty together.

🌱 Help harvest from a garden growing more than 50 kinds of vegetables, herbs, and edible plants.

🔥 Lend a hand installing art, including Facing the Fearbeast, Moroccan ParTea, Playa Penguins, Elemental Dragon, Larry’s Grove, The Bone Tree, Paradisium, and more.

🌾 Plant wildflowers. Hike the land. Soak in the hot springs. Sit around the fire. Stargaze. Teach something. Learn something. Or just spend a little time with good people in a remarkable place.

This is a simple, self-reliant, DIY, 10 Principles-based campout. Bring your own shelter, food, water, and camping gear. Toilets, handwashing stations, and communal spaces will be provided.

Come for the whole gathering if you can. Come for part of it if that’s what works.

Please Share: Burners Without Borders is proud to support an extraordinary bi-national effort coordinated by the World Bicycle Forum 12 A.C. (), alongside Chicanxs Sin Fronteras, bicycle-activist collectives in Tijuana, San Diego, and Ensenada, and hundreds of volunteers.

For the second consecutive year, FMB12 is repurposing 500 bicycles after Burning Man and transporting them to San Diego and riding them to Tijuana. From there, the bicycles will reach community projects in Baja California, Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Guerrero.

Each bicycle can provide access to jobs, healthcare, essential services, and greater independence.

Volunteers are needed:
🔧 Thursday, September 17
Unload bicycles at the Chicano Park Museum in Barrio Logan. San Diego.
🚚 Friday, September 18
Prepare the bicycles at a National City warehouse for transport to San Ysidro.
🚲 Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, beginning at 10 AM
Help move the bicycles through the San Ysidro Port of Entry and into Mexico.

Footprint Project - Hawk Fire Response Update

Our team is actively monitoring the uncontained Hawk Fire in Reno, NV. In response, Footprint Project is currently:
--Assessing the situation and our internal capacity to respond at scale
--Intaking availability of deployable renewable response tech
--Shipping a pallet of Energy Relief Kits from our warehouse in New Orleans to partners in Reno
--Fundraising for disaster operations (technical assistance, emergency coordination and logistics, reporting, and risk mitigation)
