Bonenkai: End of the Year Gathering

Celebrate the end of the year with Nakayoshi at our holiday party! This event is open to all and is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, and meet new people while enjoying delicious food!

SPARK is an outdoor social space in Mission Bay with food trucks and a beer/sangria garden. Pets are welcome. We'll be at the Angel Island Fire Pit located on the left side of the entrance/bus. Look for the Nakayoshi sign to find us!

This time we'll be watching Saint Young Men, a laid-back comedy about Buddha and Jesus taking a vacation to earth and living as roommates in Japan.

Interested in what makes Nakayoshi work? Have ideas for future events and want to see how we plan them? Come have lunch on us at Fermentation Lab and learn about our plans for the rest of the year as well as the beginning of 2026!

Our Core Retreats are an opportunity to take stock of how things are going and how we plan to move forward. All of our Core members were once regular volunteers just like you, who decided to volunteer their time planning events and organizing opportunities in the J-Town community.

Volunteer with Nakayoshi at the Center's annual Tabemasho fundraising event! The proceeds will go towards programming that supports the SF Japantown community - we will be pitching in to help make it a success!

Shifts run from 1 to 7 PM. Please check out the form above for the list of volunteer tasks. There is an option on the sign-up form to list your organization as “Nakayoshi” - please be sure to do so, so that we can be grouped together!
