2024 is not over quite yet! Before you start making your new year’s resolutions, don’t forget to fulfill your year-end giving plans by donating to Partners in School Innovation.

With your support, we’ll be able to continue partnering with schools and districts on transformative initiatives that address the unique needs of students to aid them in reaching their educational potential.

When we were able to engage with a school in Philadelphia on their mission to help students succeed, the co-creative innovation between teams was powerful. After one year, 97% of their coaching goals on school vision, classroom instruction, and professional development were achieved to the benefit of their students.

You can help us further our work by donating before the year’s out! Any amount would contribute to building equity in education; give today at https://www.partnersinschools.org/2024-year-end-giving?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social.

Looking to give the gift of school transformation and equitable change this season? Partners in School Innovation would be thrilled to receive your support as we work side by side with schools and districts to help students thrive.

With your help, we can continue building upon the strides we’ve made these past few years, such as facilitating a network of California schools to focus and develop strategies for outstanding results. They achieved a district-wide increase of student scoring in the highest bands on Math and ELA state tests in just one year!

Imagine the exponential impact of continuing work in this network for multiple years. We can keep engaging with schools and districts with your help.

Your donation, no matter the size, will help impact the lives of young students who deserve every chance to succeed. Support our continuing work toward equity in education by donating today at https://www.partnersinschools.org/2024-year-end-giving?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social.

Investing deeply in student-teacher relationships has a meaningful impact on student learning experiences and contributes to improved student well-being and academic success.

When we partnered with a school in Philadelphia to focus on relationship building, results showed that 96% of students reported positive relationships with their teachers and a 7.3% increase in students reporting positive relationships with all adults and students at their school (as compared to the prior quarter)!

This work could not have been possible without the time investment that the school leaders and teachers put in and the financial contributions we received from supporters like you.

As 2024 closes, we hope you’ll include Partners in School Innovation in your year-end giving plans so that we can continue helping students thrive. Donate today at https://www.partnersinschools.org/2024-year-end-giving?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social.

‘Tis the season of giving and gratitude. Thank you for being a supporter of Partners in School Innovation!

We have been inspired throughout the years in being able to work side by side with educators and K-12 leaders who are driven to help students overcome challenges and succeed.

In one California intermediate school we partnered with, they achieved a 250% increase in the rate of Multilingual Learners (MLLs) reclassified to Fluent English Proficient status.

And we could not have done it without the help of Change Agents like you!

Let’s keep up the progress together. As you consider your year-end giving plans, we hope that Partners in School Innovation is on your list. Your donation would allow us to continue with initiatives that help underserved communities and students.

While our progress is promising, there is more work to do, and a countless number of students are still in need of our services. Your support and generosity for Partners can help make a real difference in improving education and driving positive change in the underserved communities we support.

What does it mean to be an equity coach for educators? Many people often don’t fully understand the details and challenges of this work, viewing it as overwhelmingly complex.

To give a real-world example, we have a story to highlight which draws from our very own Megan Kizer's experience with a sixth-grade teacher and how equity coaching work was applied in a classroom setting.

Megan shares in a video her experience of supporting the teacher with adopting fair classroom practices. The video and a written summary are available for you to read here: https://www.partnersinschools.org/blog/stories-from-the-field-what-does-equity-look-like-in-the-classroom

Elevating students' voices is a critical practice to ensure that objectives of equity in education can be met. By honoring students as the experts on what is or isn't working for their learning and development and deeply listening to them, educators expand their empathy lens and advance equity improvement efforts.

A recent Education Week article, "I Invited My Students to Be the Principal for a Day. Here’s What I Learned" by guest writer S. Kambar Khoshaba, illuminates just how much an educator can learn from their students.

Khoshaba shares insights such as
- Everyone has a right to speak up
- Grow from mistakes
- Treat everyone with respect
- Communication goes both ways
- Make time to help others

Simple lessons that we could all be mindful to remember in all situations. Learn more by reading https://www.edweek.org/leadership/opinion-i-invited-my-students-to-be-the-principal-for-a-day-heres-what-i-learned/2024/05; would you try out a student-principal swap?

If you want to strengthen skills at learning from student voices, let us know. We have a complimentary Professional Development course that our learners have really gained value from.
