The world-renowned Jollibee has opened up a new location in Mid-Market! We’re really excited to bring this iconic Filipino brand to 5th & Market Streets adjacent to the SOMA Pilipinas cultural heritage district.

We got to meet *the* Jollibee mascot this morning at their ribbon cutting ceremony.

The highly-anticipated restaurant officially opens to the public tomorrow, Friday July 31. Make sure you stop by and get some fried chicken, palabok fiesta, peach mango pies, or try their famous Jolly spaghetti.

Congratulations on 20 years in Mid-Market SAMS! It’s no small feat to make it to 20 years in Mid-Market, it’s a true testament to Jeannie, her team, and the connections they’ve made with customers by offering great food and experiences. We’re honored to have attended the ceremony in support of Jeannie and her team!

The 20th anniversary celebration included heartfelt remarks from Mayor Daniel Lurie (Daniel Lurie), California State Treasurer Fiona Ma (Fiona Ma), District 6 Supervisor Matt Dorsey (Matt Dorsey), Executive Director of SF Office of Small Business Katy Tang (Katy Tang), SF City Administrator Carmen Chu (carmenchusf), Revered Dr. Eugene Park, and of course Jeannie Kim, founder and owner of SAMS. All that with an extra special SAMS touch, AKA delicious food and handmade goodie bags. There was even a special appearance from Back to the Future’s Claudia Wells (Claudia Heyneman Wells) while The Whoadees played some tunes outside!

Community matters in keeping small businesses thriving. We’re grateful to be a part of such a welcoming and supportive community!

Who needs a concert ticket when Market Street is the stage? ✨🎶🎤

This week for Busk It!, The Whoadees (pictured) will be bringing the vibes to SAMS, 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝑭𝒆𝒓𝒖𝒛𝒂 will be performing at , Jason Movrich will be filling the streets of La Cuisine Cafe SF with live music, and Guajiron Music (Michael Terkowski) will be closing out the week at YOTEL.

This Market Street Arts program directly supports local musicians and creates a dynamic, joyful environment for residents, visitors, businesses, and those who work in the area.
