Bring Change to Mind

Bring Change to Mind Let's talk mental health. Every individual who speaks out inspires another. And another. That’s how we’ll end the stigma around mental illness.

Bring Change to Mind (BC2M) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging dialogue about mental health, and to raising awareness, understanding, and empathy. Actress & activist Glenn Close co-founded Bring Change to Mind in 2010 after her sister, Jessie Close, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and her nephew, Calen Pick, with schizoaffective disorder. That’s how we’ll Bring Change to Mind. For more information, please visit http://bringchangetomind.org.

Stigma thrives in silence.

But, the moment a young person says, “I’m not okay." And someone responds, “I’m here." Something begins to change.

create spaces where students can talk about mental health openly, honestly, and without judgment.

This year, 830,000 students will be part of a BC2M community where it’s okay to talk about mental health.

That means more young people learning how to ask for help, check in on their friends, and support someone who may be struggling.

In fact, 92% of BC2M High School Program Club Members say they know how to support someone who’s struggling.

And, for students like Shriya, those conversations can shape what comes next — from finding support to pursuing a future in mental health and su***de prevention work.

Help us reach the next student who needs to hear: you’re not alone.

Please consider making a gift today. 💚

13 years of Revels. One unforgettable night for youth mental health.

On April 27th, we raised more than $2.3 million to support our work in helping young people feel seen, heard, and supported. From powerful student stories to moving tributes, inspiring award presentations, and unforgettable performances for a room full of advocates, the night was one to be remembered!

But, above all, we were reminded by our students exactly why both this work, and each and every donation matters.💚

At BC2M, we believe every conversation has the power to change a life.

In our BC2M High School Program Clubs, that might look like checking in on a friend, saying “I get it,” or simply listening without judgment.

That’s why 95% of students say they’re talking more about mental health after joining a BC2M club.

This , we’re celebrating the students who are helping stigma fall, one conversation at a time.
