Calling all young artists!

ONE WEEK left to register for the second round of the youth art contest.* The online submission portal will close on 10 pm PST, Sunday, June 14th. Additionally, the last day that IAMA will accept physical artwork submissions by drop-off or mail is June 25th, 2026, by 5:00 pm. Important: Any artwork not received by June 25 will be included in the public exhibit, but will not be entered into the competition for prizes.

*Please note, this applies only to eligible second round participants.

The American Conservatory Theater annual Pride Parade Party & festivities take place again June 28th at the Strand Theater on Market Street!

Join us for Pride at the Strand!

On June 28, we'll host our annual Pride Parade party! Doors open at 10:30am with a DJ, snacks, drinks (try A Deeper Love, a strawberry margarita!), and clean restrooms — plus a great view of the parade grandstand! Rolling drag performances throughout the day will include Trixxie Carr, Polly Amber Ross, Linty, Papi Churro, and more.

The City and County of San Francisco is seeking public feedback on a draft updated Citywide Good Neighbor Policy.

Public comment will be open from May 18 through May 29, 2026. Providers, operators, neighbors, businesses, community groups, residents, clients, and other stakeholders are encouraged to review the draft and submit written feedback.

The City is especially interested in feedback on implementation, feasibility, clarity of expectations, documentation requirements, and coordination with City response systems.

Opening May 30th at International Art Museum of America:

Estrangement: "Challenging the myth of mankind's separation from nature" by Erik Hunter.

On display from May 30th to July 12th, be sure to stop by the opening reception on Saturday May 30th from 2 to 4pm.

The reception is free to attend and will have light bites, wine, and soft drinks for attendees. The artist will be there onsite for a meet and greet and to talk about his artworks.
