🗳️ My voter guide can be found at the link in bio. My top picks: for Governor, for Congress, and a hard YES on Prop D.

Voter turnout is critically low right now, which means your vote carries more weight. Today is the perfect time to fill out your ballot. Mail ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday, June 2, but the safest move is to drop it at your local polling place or an official ballot drop box before polls close at 8pm.

Whoever you vote for, I encourage you to make your voice heard.

San Francisco budget cuts are hitting neighborhood schools, and McCoppin Elementary in the Inner Richmond is actively working to close the gap.

This Friday, the 5th graders are running Field Day, a full day of outdoor activities for the entire school, and students across every grade have fundraising goals to help it happen, asking their community to invest in the school garden, nature camp, and the kind of outdoor time that gets cut first and missed most.

My daughter Ever has gone further than I expected, writing personal letters to family and walking door to door through the neighborhood with her school friends (and brother!). Watching her build power from the ground up like this is one of the most hopeful things I’ve seen in a while. Needless to say I am beyond proud of her commitment and her courage.

If you can donate, there is a link in bio. If you can’t, sharing this post can reach someone who can. These kids are out here doing the unglamorous work. Let’s get them outside! 💪🌱

With gratitude.

People tend to talk about double parking as a minor inconvenience, a cost of doing business. But what it actually does is put the most vulnerable road users in harm’s way.

Friday’s crash was the result of a double-parked truck creating a foreseeable hazard on a street failed by design and policy.

Protected bike lanes are a known way to prevent this exact this exact kind of catastrophe.

As a public school parent, there is no neutral.

We are on this picket line today because this is not a “both sides” issue. When you have a power dynamic that requires collective bargaining power and you ask workers to negotiate without leverage you are not asking for fairness, you are asking them to lose.

That is and has always been the tactic.

Now, more than ever, we need strong unions who are willing to fight.

I am proud to stand with our educators.

A beautiful weekend of bike parades/busses on some of San Francisco’s world class car-free routes though Golden Gate Park and along the oceanfront Sunset Dunes Park.

Thank you everyone who brought this energy and engagement to our community 🚲 😃 🫧 🧑‍🚒🕸️

Bright ride with a sunny crew this morning on with 🚲

We learned that nationally, Bike to Work Day was first established in 1956 by the League of American Bicyclists. The goal was to promote cycling as a healthy and environmentally friendly alternative to driving. Fun fact! Today we bike to anywhere and everywhere.

[Special thank you to 🙌]

Advocacy Day with Moms Demand Action in California is powerful. You walk into the Capitol with hundreds of people who care deeply about keeping our communities safe. We meet with lawmakers, we share our stories, and we demand action on gun safety. It’s about showing up for each other, for our kids, and for the future we all deserve.

And it’s remarkably easy to get involved. You don’t need to be an expert. You don’t need to have experience. You just need to care. The team gives you everything you need, and you’re surrounded by people who have your back. It’s meaningful, it’s energizing, and it’s a ton of fun. Next time, come with us. We need you in this fight.

Special thank you to and the entire network of volunteers and lawmakers who make advocacy accessible while driving change.
