100+ Women Who Care San Francisco

Harnessing the power of collective giving to make a difference in San Francisco communities.

This giving circle is for you if:

- You’re an amazing woman
- You believe in giving back
- You believe there is power in numbers
- You don’t have time in your busy life to volunteer but have been wanting to help those in need, and you can commit to one hour every three months
- If you want 100% of your donations to go directly to a local charity
- If you want your generous $100 donation to become

a part of a large amount of money by joining together with other women—creating a powerful impact in our home of San Francisco

100 Women Who Care San Francisco is a group of local women who are interested in supporting our communities by contributing to San Francisco-based charities together as a group to increase our impact. As individuals it is difficult to make a very large impact, but as a group we believe we have the ability to contribute to the growth of our community in ways that we never before thought possible. Our mission is to reach out and help our community by finding at least 100 women to commit to our group. Commitment involves attending four, one-hour meetings a year, and pledging $100 per meeting ($400 per year) to support a local charity based in San Francisco.

And that’s a wrap on our first in person event in 3 years!! We were so thrilled to get to see our members again, celebrate 5 years of , and give away this huge check again! Huge congratulations 🥳 to our winner taking home $5,100 and to our runner ups and who each won $500 as well 🎈! Missed the event? It’s not too late to add your donation! Throwback to our first event 5 YEARS AGO TODAY! Can’t believe how far we have come and all the good we have done so far, raising over $91K for 20 Bay Area charities. Happy International Women’s Day! We are thankful every day, but especially today, to be surrounded by strong, giving, inspiring, and kind women. Five years since we were founded and it never ceases to amaze us what we can do when we come together as women! Thank you for making us the organization we are today, ladies 💗 can’t wait to see you on March 21 to celebrate IWD and our 5 year anniversary!

Happy Giving Tuesday, ladies! We are excited to announce that our quarterly event is BACK! It will take place the week of Dec 12 and will continue to be virtual over Grapevine, but with a twist!

Since 2020, we have heard from 20 charities about the amazing work we do, and as you know the decision to pick just one is always so tough! So for our Q4 2022 event we will get another chance to consider some runner-up charities from the last couple of years! Can’t wait- see you soon!!

WE HAVE A WINNER! After a brief delay and another tough vote, we are so excited to announce that is our Q1 winner and recipient of $2,800. Urban Compassion Project is committed to the health, welfare, and empowerment of the unhoused in Oakland. By cleaning the trash that threatens the health and safety of their community members, they build community between Oakland's unhoused and housed. Thank you SO much to everyone who participated in our Q1 event, donated, and made this possible!

If you didn’t get a chance to donate yet, it’s not too late! Our portal is open until Friday. Remember that every $100 becomes $150 thanks to our matching program!
