💕THIS SUNDAY 5/17 Support Women & Nonbinary creators and makers in SF!

Hello SF! We are Double Union a nonprofit in SF focused on creating an accessible space for women and nonbinary makers in the city. We are having the first series of our summer fundraiser THIS SUNDAY MAY 17!

We’ll have some crafts made by our community members and other women and nonbinary makers in our area to sell. We’ll also have craft supplies to sell if you are a maker yourself! Come support our women/nonbinary third space by stopping by and shopping, sharing this post, or donating to our gofundme! Or you can always join our community as low as $30/mo! If you’d like to join us in selling items, send us a DM! You can get a spot to sell your items and all we ask is a small % of sales. You could also come by to donate unused craft items to sell at our next fair!

Circuit Light Class This Saturday 3/21 @ 2PM - Donation based!

Learn to make paper circuits DU! This is workshop for all levels where you will learn how to add LED lights to your paper drawings, and hopefully in the process learn a bit about circuits and how you can integrate them into your crafts. In addition to the 3d printing class, we are also hosting a Sweater Weather Clothing Swap this Sunday! Partiful RSVP link in bio.

Winter is coming and it's the perfect time to score some warm layers or that statement piece you didn't think you need!

How it works:
Bring clean, quality clothing items you no longer wear and exchange them for pieces brought by others. No item is required for participation, you could just come and browse!

What to bring:
Gently used clothing in good condition (items you'd be happy to give a friend). All sizes, styles, and seasons welcome (but warm clothes preferred).

The remaining items at the end of the event will be taken to Community Thrift to support Double Union (a feminist she/they/nb makerspace that *you* could also be a part of).

Bring your spooky (or not) projects and work on them with company ✨🎃👻

Besides classic art supplies (paints, yarn, paper printers, hot glue guns), we've got some specialized equipment at Double Union including sewing / embroidery machines, screen printing, 3d printing, soldering, laser cutting, and rug tufting 👩‍🏭🎨✂️🧶🧵

Prospective members and she/they guests are welcome and encouraged to come and find out more about Double Union and parallel craft with us 🙌
