Welcome back, Rooftop families! 🎒 School starts Monday, August 17th, and we can't wait to see everyone back on campus.

If you're new to our community, welcome! You're joining a really special place.

This mosaic is a newer addition to our Twin Peaks campus and was completed last Spring. It was designed by the Create Peace Project, based on input from our own students.

It's one small window into the spirit of our school. And like our school song says, “…we can't wait to see our friends again — open the door and come on in!”

Welcome new and prospective Rooftop Families! The staff and family volunteers of Rooftop TK-8 welcome you to join us for our spring tour on Thursday, March 19, at 2:00pm.

Our tours are designed to give you a real feel for the school. We hope you’ll get a sense of what it’s like to be a child in our classrooms, halls, yards, and programs, and whether Rooftop is a good fit for your family.

Our school has two campuses: Twin Peaks, which houses grades TK through 4, and Mayeda for grades 5 through 8. All tours will begin with an information session on the Twin Peaks campus (443 Burnett Ave, although it's easier to park on Corbett and walk up the stairs at the top of Romain Street or walk up the driveway that begins at 795 Corbett), and then split into groups that will tour either the Twin Peaks or Mayeda Campus. No need to sign up!

Dear Rooftop Community,

The PTA Board worked closely with our school administrators to identify ways we can support Rooftop families to ensure all our students can continue to receive the education and services promised by SFUSD.

We understand that many of you may be feeling anxious and stressed about the increased federal enforcement in the Bay Area. We would like to offer space for the community to come together, care for one another, and make sure everyone feels supported.

If your family would benefit from extra help in the coming weeks, the PTA Board would like to help match you with Rooftop community volunteers.

We can help coordinate:
Rides or carpools to assist students getting to and from school, CASA, and other school events
Grocery delivery or help with small errands.
