Join us on March 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. PT for a free 60-minute webinar. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to eating well, and older adults have unique needs and priorities. This free one-hour webinar highlights important considerations when running food-related programs for older adults, including how their nutritional needs differ from those of other groups and how trauma-informed principles, such as building social connection through food, can help older adults thrive. Join us to learn strategies and gain tools and resources for supporting older adults. Webinar will be recorded and sent out to all registrants. https://leahspantrysf-org.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_3q_LII9_RpyowT6bHt_f_Q?mc_cid=4e98b417bd&mc_eid=a6ed2a634c #/registration

Across the country, nutrition education programs are losing funding, but families, children, seniors, and communities still need support. For twenty years, Leah’s Pantry has created resources that help people cook, eat, and move with confidence. Now, through The Leah’s Pantry Nutrition Partnership Initiative, we’re building a hub to keep these materials, trainings, and partnerships alive.

Your donation keeps nutrition education in classrooms, movement classes in senior centers, and food distribution programs running smoothly. Join us in preserving what works and powering what comes next. Donate to Leah’s Pantry this : leahspantry.org/donate

This consider donating to The Leah’s Pantry Nutrition Partnership Initiative. Earlier this year, funding for the largest federal nutrition education program (SNAP-Ed) was eliminated, creating major gaps in nutrition and physical activity programs across the U.S.

That’s why Leah’s Pantry is raising funds to build a digital hub for nutrition and physical activity resources, training, and technical assistance.

More than just a library, this hub will strengthen a national network of educators and community partners by providing a shared space for high-quality, trauma-informed curricula and ongoing support. Teachers, social workers, senior center staff, and community leaders across the country will be able to access materials developed by Leah’s Pantry and our trusted partners, free of charge.

Your donation keeps nutrition education in classrooms, movement classes in senior centers, and food distribution programs running smoothly. It also sustains the knowledge, technology, and people behind this transition, preserving decades of learning and ensuring programs continue to reach communities where they’re needed most.
