Today, on World Hepatitis Day, we honor the incredible work and leadership of the champions advocating for progress on hepatitis elimination. We must continue our efforts to increase prevention and screening, combat stigma, and reduce barriers to care. It's time for action!

The Access Support Network is celebrating its 40th year serving San Luis Obispo County. I am excited to share our new website, www.asn.org. The new website seeks to help people navigate and find our services in the three counties we now serve: San Luis Obispo, Monterey, and northern Santa Barbara Counties.

The Access Support Network is a community based nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support to our neighbors and loved ones living with HIV or Hep C. We strive to improve the independence of our clients through individualized services.

Hepatitis C cannot be transmitted via spitting and these charges must be dropped immediately.

A homeless man is facing felony charges for allegedly trying to infect a Corvallis police officer with hepatitis C by spitting on him.

Beware of posts from scam artists claiming to cure hep C, hep B or even HIV on this page. Several of these posts have been very clever in the way they get on here, commenting on dozens of posts making it very hard for me to delete. Eventually I can ban them, but it sometimes takes a bit of time to make this work. Sorry about these posts. Thanks.

We're going to change our name from CalHEP to the "Katie Burk Fan Club!

This is great stuff coming out of End Hep C SF and the Drug User Health Initiative from SFDPH. Katie's leadership, a committed health department and a remarkable amount of buy-in and hard work from people who use drugs (PWUD), community advocates and harm reductionists has resulted in a wonderful model for providing care for PWUD. This is what can happen when a friendly department of public health partners with community!

Katie Burk, MPH, presented measures undertaken by the city of San Francisco to provide integrated responses to the concurrent HIV/HCV and opioid public health epidemics.

CalHEP member, and one of the projects receiving funding from our demonstration project budget ask, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation is leading the way on treating people who use drugs for hepatitis C! And of course, End Hep C SF deserves the love, too. This is great stuff!

Innovative HCV cure initiatives in San Francisco prioritize high-needs people who may still be actively injecting drugs.
