Euclid Garden

Euclid Garden Euclid Garden is a non-profit organization which intends to facilitate the development of therapeutic gardens in group homes. STONE

Our founding garden is at the San Francisco Girl’s Home which is referred to as, “Euclid.” Euclid is a group home for girls ages 13-17 being released from YGC (juvenile incarceration) in San Francisco, California. Have you ever really watched a flower grow? The Himalayan lily takes seven years to bloom. The Kurinji bush takes twelve years and the Talipot Palm up to eighty before it flowers and die

s. Shooting through the topsoil towards the light, watch: its leaves peel back to reveal whole universes of color and life. A time-lapse video would have us believe such revelations happen in an instant. But beauty's roots are deep and this takes time. And here at Euclid Garden, we will wait. So watch: a group of individuals intent on serving San Francisco youth, we bring Plants, Poetry, Passion, and the Patience it will take to make Positivity blossom in the walls of our city's group homes.
