June is Pride Month and we're proud to display children's books that bring the spirit of Pride Month to our clubhouse. Having inclusive and representative books in our libraries are important for learning and belonging.

Our 2025-2026 Junior Rec Leaders really wanted to go to as their celebratory field trip and we told them it was out of our budget. They rolled up their sleeves, got baking and put on a two weeks bake sale and raised enough money to have their full party.

Over the course of the last year, our Junior Rec Leaders have built relationships with our younger kids, served snacks, led activities and showed what looks like to take on responsibility. We're proud of their work and loved celebrating them at our clubhouse with an additional party this week.
