A special dedication post to our Maisin alumni and current scholars who continue to make this community so extraordinary.

Thank you to the many Maisin alumni and current scholars who volunteered their time and energy to help make this year's Maisin Scholar Award Ceremony such a success. Your commitment to giving back and supporting the next generation of scholars is what makes the Maisin community so special.

A special thank you to Jaden for serving as our keynote speaker. Your journey continues to inspire us and so many of the scholars in our community. Thank you for sharing your story, your wisdom, and your encouragement with our newest cohort.

To Marcus, thank you for being an incredible emcee and bringing such energy, enthusiasm, and joy to the evening. You helped create a memorable celebration for everyone in attendance.

And to our Maisin scholar volunteers: we truly could not do this without you. Year after year, you show up, step in, and support this event with so much heart. One of our favorite parts of this celebration is seeing all of you come back, reconnect, and continue to strengthen this community.

Thank you for reminding us that being a Maisin Scholar is more than a scholarship, it is a lifelong community. We are so proud of each and every one of you.

And just like that, we celebrated our Maisin Scholar Award Ceremony!

This year was especially meaningful as we marked 25 years of excellence and impact. We proudly awarded scholarships to 75 outstanding scholars representing 15 of the 18 schools within the San Francisco Unified School District.

A heartfelt thank you to the Alexander M. and June L. Maisin Foundation Board of Directors and our 10,000 Degrees Board for your continued commitment to providing students with opportunities to pursue higher education. To the families, friends, and supporters of our scholars, thank you for nurturing and encouraging such incredible young people.

And to our Class of 2026 scholars: congratulations! We are thrilled to begin this journey with you and can't wait to kick off your first year together. Your future is bright, and we look forward to all that you will accomplish.

Congratulations to each and every one of you!

It’s that time of the year! Celebrating our incredible scholars who graduated this Spring 2026! 🎓✨

Kicking off our Scholar Spotlight series, we are proud to congratulate Andrea L. on her recent graduation from CSU San Bernardino with a Bachelor’s degree in Administration, concentrating in Management.

Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have paid off, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this milestone with you. Congratulations, Andrea! We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next. 💙

When asked what advice she would give scholars still in college, Andrea shared:

"Make mistakes and never stop asking questions because you are the owner of your future."

Thank you for sharing your wisdom and inspiring the next generation of scholars.
