It was a beautiful day on San Francisco Bay today. The Giants and Dodgers were playing and a floating band was playing while our two Liberty’s sailed among the many boats, kayaks, and almost anything that could float!

Kathy S. sailed in the red, white, and blue themed Liberty in San Francisco Bay’s McCovey Cove. The Giants were playing while Kathy, Chris B., and John W. enjoyed a quick sail. Billy and Chris N. crewed the safety boat.

It was a day to remember. Sailing in beautiful winds with the Giants playing baseball while BAADS sailed about.

It was his school, his biggest challenge. “Always I come back to the sea.” He wrote in a magazine piece called “Small-Boat Sailing”. “In my case it is usually San Francisco Bay, than which no lustier, tougher sheet of water can be found for small-boat sailing.”
