Kesem San Francisco Kesem is a nationwide community, led by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer.

Kesem is a federally registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Kesem is a diverse community led by passionate and empathetic college students working to ensure that children facing the challenges of a parent’s cancer have space, connection, and support to rediscover the joys of childhood. Our mission is to support children through and beyond their parent’s cancer with free, fun-filled crea

tive programs and a lasting community. Kesem San Francisco was founded in 2017 and supports children in the Bay Area community by providing Camp Kesem, a free week-long summer camp experience, and year-round Through and Beyond support services. Our chapter is operated by ~20 student volunteers and serves ~50 campers ages 6-18 per year. Kesem operates at more than 130 chapters coast-to-coast. Its programs and services are all funded by generous donations from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.

Day 3 at KESEM! 🦋💫

Today was packed with fun, laughter, and so much camp magic! From dancing and celebrating at Kesemchella to cooling off during water games and getting creative with colorful tie-dye shirts, every moment was one to remember.💙💚

So grateful for the memories, smiles, and amazing campers who make each day so special. 💙✨

And just like that, Day 2 is a wrap!🎬 Today was our first full day of camp, and we celebrated in true Disney style! 👑 Shared lots of laughs at the pool, watched some hilarious Disney skits, and ended the night around the campfire with s’mores. 🍫🔥 If day two was this good, we can’t even imagine what Day 3 will bring! 👀✨
