How thieves work? Most of the burglars breaking into cars are career criminals and work in organized groups the police call "crews."
These crews are made up of two to five people. They operate in their cars, and usually have paper license plates so they can't be tracked down. They are mostly in tourist area and driving slowly, looking into cars with flashlights, or cars backed into spots so they can pull out faster. Sometimes they drive around take quick picture of car , then they come back and park parallel, a thief jumps out of the car, breaks a window, and takes as much as he can carry. Everything happened for less than 10 seconds.
