Yesterday’s Bertsolari Saioa at the Basque Cultural Center was an afternoon filled with talent, laughter, and great moments. A heartfelt Eskerrik Asko to all our bertsolaris, MC Xabier Berrueta, Translator Xabi Paya, Transcriber Valerie Etcharren Arrechea, North American Basque Organizations, Basque Club of San Francisco, Philippe Acheritogary, and all the other hands behind the scenes making this annual event a success.

The Bertsolari Exhibition is coming up on Sunday, March 8th, following a 12:30pm luncheon, and will have real time English translations of the poetic verses that the Bertsolaris will sing displayed on an adjacent screen.

This coming Saturday, the Basque Club and N.A.B.O. will pay tribute to the late Johnny Curutchet by hosting a full Bertsolari exhibition, featuring the U.S. based Bertsolaris along with special guest Bertsolaris from the Basque Country. The bertsolari performances will be live streamed.

N.A.B.O. & the Basque Club will host an Improvisational Festival Featuring Poets from The Basque Country and the U.S. in tribute to the late Johnny Curutchet. Live Stream Available 12:00pm PT
