Ratification voting polls are officially closed! 🗳️
The LiUNA Local 261 City & County of San Francisco membership has spoken. With a 90.2% YES vote, the membership has overwhelmingly ratified our tentative agreement! 💪🏽🧡

Out of respect for our labor sibling unions, we were asked not to take photographs or post about the tentative agreement signing until today, when the other unions would also have the opportunity to sign on.

Please join me in giving a BIG SHOUT-OUT 🎉 to our bargaining team! They sat at the table alongside the SFLC PEC and made sure we secured what WE needed to protect our hard-fought wins, workplace rights, and layoff protections. They also fought for a strong Joint Labor-Management Committee with a direct path to the Mayor’s Office for any disputes that remain unresolved during the term of our contract extension.

Every step of the way, our bargaining team was in the room, fighting for all of us citywide.

Union membership is more than a card—it is our collective voice, our strength, and our power at the bargaining table.

The Tentative Agreement includes:

✊ A 12% wage increase over four years
✊🏽Layoff protections for our members
✊🏾A strong Joint Labor-Management Committee that gives members a path to the Mayor’s Office
✊🏿Our hard-fought contractual wins protected and extended for the next four years

These protections and improvements are possible because workers stand together. Now it is time to exercise one of our most important union rights—our right to vote.

Orange Alert 🤜🍊🤛🏽: Attn members and community. We are living in some crazy backwards times. We have Government Departmental Leaders holding down the lowest paid workers, fighting proposed legislation to lift up the most vulnerable works and SAVE TAX PAYER $$$ money. The departments cannot account for the millions of dollars they are spending on street cleaning contracts. The Controller’s office audited SFDPW and said they are totally being unaccountable for tax payer dollars that are not making the streets cleaner, contractors are charging $189per hour for a laborer which is almost a 500% mark up. It is baffling that in San Francisco, of all places, we have department heads, making Trump like moves against workers and tax payers to make their friends rich.

Please come and stand with Us for Cleaner Streets, Tax dollar savings, and to stop worker exploitation. All welcomed! Please share!!!
