Great meeting today! Sophie practiced her TED Talk today, and will be delivering her speech live on Friday. What a treat! Many thanks to everyone who contributed to a fun meeting! Good luck on Friday, Sophie!

Congrats to Sophie and Jennelle who both placed in the area contest!! Jennelle won 1st place for giving a table topics speech on "advice to a graduating class of college students" and Sophie won 2nd place on her speech "I am enough."

We also want thank Mary Ann for volunteering as a timer and Julia as the photographer for this contest! Great job team.

Inducting and welcoming our newest members to Toasters Digest at today's meeting. Congratulations to our club for four amazing women joining!

Our theme for this week's meeting was "Weather"... which turned out to be very fitting since most of us were surprised by afternoon rain showers that weren't predicted in the morning. MaryAnn gave us a preview of an upcoming work related talk on Color & Color Spaces, while Sophie lead our table topics. Questions included "How do you decide when to use an umbrella?" and "If in the future, scientists discover how to control the weather, should we do it?" Thanks to everyone who attended for the their participation!
