Keeping Ocean Avenue Clean, Safe, and Vibrant! www.oaacbd.org The Board is comprised of district property owners, merchants, and community members.

Ocean Avenue Association (OAA) oversees management of the Ocean Avenue Community Benefit District (CBD). Activities include sidewalk cleaning, graffiti removal, safety activities and marketing and branding services. The Ocean Avenue CBD includes 148 properties.

☀️ What an incredible Summer Fun Day! 🎉

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us and made this year’s Summer Fun Day such a memorable celebration!
With 500+ community members in attendance, Ocean Avenue was filled with smiles, laughter, music, and families enjoying a beautiful afternoon together. 💙

From the 🎶 live DJ and 🎨 face painting to 🎈 balloon art, 🫧 bubbles, 🎯 co****le, giant games, crafts, and activities for kids of all ages, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was amazing to see neighbors connecting, children playing, and our community coming together to celebrate summer.

A special thank you to our incredible volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and community partners who helped make this event possible. Your time, generosity, and support continue to strengthen the Ocean Avenue corridor and create meaningful experiences for our neighborhood.

We also loved seeing attendees support our local businesses by using their Shop & Dine vouchers—keeping our community vibrant while enjoying everything Ocean Avenue has to offer. 🛍️🍽️

Events like these remind us that when our community comes together, amazing things happen. Thank you for making Summer Fun Day such a huge success—we can’t wait to see you at our next community event!

💚 Community in action! 🌿

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Unity Plaza for One City Day! Together we cleaned our neighborhood, picked up litter, weeded sidewalks and green spaces, and made OMI a little brighter. Every helping hand made a difference!

Big thanks to Mayor Daniel Lurie, First Lady Becca Prowda, Supervisor Melgar, Supervisor Chen, our amazing volunteers, and community partners for making San Francisco’s first citywide day of service such a success.

And what better way to wrap up the morning than celebrating together at Ocean Ale House? 🍻 Thank you to Myles and Daniel for providing lunch! Great people, great conversations, and a well-deserved thank you to everyone who showed up for our community.

Help clean up our neighborhood by picking up litter, weeding sidewalks and green spaces, and making OMI a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant place for everyone. Whether you're a first-time volunteer or a longtime community champion, we'd love to have you join us!

Join us for the Ocean & Faxon Summer Fun Block Party on Saturday, July 25 from 12–2 PM!

Bring your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors for an afternoon of community, music, activities, local businesses, and summer fun right here on Ocean Avenue. ☀️🎶

We’ll have FREE face painting, a balloon artist, giant Jenga, co****le, and other classic field day-style games for all ages. Plus, we’ll be handing out a limited amount of FREE $10 Shop & Dine Ocean Avenue voucher to spend at participating local businesses! 🛍️🍦

✨ Plus, help shape the future of Ocean Avenue! We’ll be launching our Community Vision Process, where you can vote on the projects and improvements you’d most like to see along the corridor—from public art and beautification to events, lighting, gardens, and more.

District 7 Participatory Budgeting is open through Monday, June 15, giving residents a direct voice in funding community improvements across our neighborhoods.

We’re especially excited about Project #9: Ocean Avenue Sidewalk Garden Renewal 🌱

The project would:
🌳 Replace dead trees
🌿 Refresh landscaping and mulch
🚶 Remove sidewalk hazards
✨ Create a greener, safer, and more welcoming Ocean Avenue corridor

There are many great projects on the ballot, and we encourage everyone to review the full list and support the ideas that matter most to you.

🧋What a day on Ocean Avenue!

Our Boba Festival sold out with nearly 200 attendees—bringing people from across San Francisco, the Bay Area and beyond to explore the corridor.

From shop to shop, we saw new favorites discovered, people gathering, and so much energy throughout Ocean Ave. This is exactly what we’re aiming for—more foot traffic, more visibility, and more love for Ocean Avenue’s amazing businesses.

HUGE thank you to our participating shops, our volunteers, and everyone who came out to support 💗 AND to for sponsoring the $10 shop & dine vouchers which spread the joy to even MORE businesses on Ocean 💚
