Microscopy highlight from SFMS member Edith Reiner:

Top/bottom views of a spider, magnified 20x, after being caught and digested by a venus flytrap. I'm impressed: the plant did a damn good job of liquifying and consuming all of that spider meat. All that's left is the empty exoskeleton. In the third image, you can see the flytrap leaf.
