Buffy Wicks, pull AB 736!! This will limit transfer taxes on the biggest most expensive properties to help fund stable permanent price controlled housing for tenants in CA. AB 736 is a last minute attempt to circumvent the voters will to decide where wealth created by property transfer is spent.

There should be basic standards if a landlord wants to rent a property. Right now, just 14% of rental properties in Detroit have a certificate for safe and habitable housing. We stand with the as they fight to get this law implemented. Link to article in bio.
