🎶 Two Japanese music legends are coming to San Francisco!

Akiko Yano, singer-songwriter and pianist, joins Tsugaru-shamisen virtuoso Hiromitsu Agatsuma for a San Francisco debut performance drawn from their acclaimed 2020 album, “Asteroid and Butterfly.” Together, they reimagine traditional Japanese folk songs (min’yo) through jazz, pop, and improvisation, pairing Yano’s genre-defying piano and vocals with Agatsuma’s blistering shamisen technique. 🎹🎶
