Last week we were pleased to welcome some of our Leadership Circle and Board Members for a private tour of the Asian Art Museum’s special exhibitions with Chief Curator Rob Mintz.

Our tour went through the exhibition “Chiharu Shiota: Two Home Countries,” examined its immersive installations, and gained deeper insight into Shiota’s artistic practice. Following the Shiota exhibition, we caught the last week of the exhibit “New Japanese Clay.” Guests enjoyed this special opportunity to engage with the exhibitions and learn the stories behind the artists and their works.

Thank you to Rob Mintz for sharing his expertise and to the Asian Art Museum for helping to arrange our tour. We look forward to our next visit!

A huge thank you to our incredible speakers, partners, and community for joining us at Stanford for this inspiring conversation.
