Tiger Tales - February 2022

This month we are focusing on our Tiger Value Grit. Grit is the courage to fail and the passion and perseverance to succeed. At Aptos our students show Grit every day, by working their hardest in class, even if they don't get it the first time, by practicing a difficult skill in PE, and by taking risks even when success isn't
guaranteed. In a couple of weeks, we will celebrate students who exemplify Grit in our Tiger Assembly. We invite you to ask your students how they show Grit in their daily life. Tell them about a challenge you faced or a failure you learned from. ROAR!

Rapid antigen testing with Safer Together is available this Sunday 1/23 from 9AM to 4PM at 555 Franklin Street.

Get the locations and schedules for COVID-19 testing for you or your student and find out where you can drop off a Color self-swab kit.

COVID-19 Testing Resources

Proactive testing before returning can prevent exposures, outbreaks and unnecessary missed days for SFUSD staff and students. SFUSD strongly encourages staff and students to access COVID-19 tests at any location where it is available throughout San Francisco.

SFUSD has partnered with Safer Together to offer mobile rapid testing as staff and students return from the Winter Break.

Safer Together will offer the antigen rapid testing at the school sites below during the week of January 2nd-9th.

Testing will be available to staff, students, and the community.
Please use bit.ly/sfusdtesting to register for testing with Safer Together. While Safer Together will be able to provide day of registration support, it is recommended that registration is completed prior to arriving at the testing mobiles. Please note that if students are registering on the day of testing, parents/guardians of students must be present to complete the registration/consent form.

Collect 10 days of breakfasts and lunches, including fruit, vegetables and milk. Meals are for children 18 and under. Will be available while supplies last.
