Starting July 11th to the 31st Youth art Exchange Will be hosting Amy Díaz-Infante Siqueiros’ solo show - Lineage.

Lineage explores our connection across time and place, from generation to generation, through our relationship to plants and food.

These images draw from my personal Chicana narrative and the ancestral knowledge inherited through culinary traditions and medicinal plant usages. The acknowledgement of our dependence on and integration with the natural world feels particularly salient at a time when that world is threatened with climate change, and when advancements in technology can separate us from a physical experience of the world and of community.

In the U.S., when our legitimacy as community members in this country and our very personhood are under attack, these images are also a reminder that we carry this land in our bones.

Come check out the opening reception on July 11th at our La fênix Location!

🧵🍷 STITCH & SIP IS BACK, BABY 🍷🧵

Tomorrow. 5:30–7:30 PM.

📍 2330 San Jose Ave.

21+ because we’re hydrating responsibly.

Bring your own craft OR snag a kit from us.
Embroidery? Knitting? Chaotic bead project you started in 2022? We support you.

Sliding scale.
Low key pressure.
High key vibes.

Pull up, sip something cute, make something with your hands, and hang with the art critters of your dreams. ✨ lead by our very own

BONUS: Every dollar from tickets, craft kits, and donations goes directly toward keeping our youth programs FREE. So you’re basically crafting for the children. (Hero behavior tbh- tickets are in our 🔗🌳 at the top)

See you tomorrow. Bring a friend. Or a situationship. Or just your unfinished project and main character energy 😎

Grateful for everyone who came out to support an evening of poetry and music with Marvin Flores, Ann Bennesten, and Jazzfrancisco (Jackson Moran & Nathaniel Vincent), presented by The Last Supper Party this weekend.

The Last Supper Party is a monthly spoken word and performance series highlighting a diverse range of artists and writers from across the Bay Area.

It was an honor to be part of this beautiful project, and we can’t wait to welcome them back to our Mission spot at La Fénix. ✨
