Million Acre Pledge The Million Acre Pledge is a results-based, large scale and inspirational conservation finance commitment for individuals, businesses and foundations.

A pledge by individuals, businesses, and foundations to each protect or restore large areas of bio-rich wilderness and encourage others to do the same in order to:

- Save irreplaceable ecosystems, biodiversity, wildlife, and indigenous peoples and cultures.
-Prevent massive CO2 emissions from ecosystem loss and enable enormous CO2 absorption by ecosystems. If just one thousand pledgers each save

one million acres, they could together protect the majority of the world’s threatened tropical rainforests.
