We are the San Francisco affiliate of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), one of more than 1,100 local affiliates known by its acronym NAMI or NAMI San Francisco. With some 200,000 members, NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots, volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with severe mental illnesses through advocacy and education efforts. We understand that mental

illness deeply affects whole families; not just the person with an illness. NAMI San Francisco provides the following free programs:

NAMIWalk may be over, but the momentum continues! 💙

What an incredible day it was: beautiful weather, an amazing turnout, and a community united for mental health.

We have reached 75% of our fundraising goal, and we’re not stopping there. While Walk Day has come and gone, our fundraising campaign continues. Every dollar raised helps support NAMI’s mission to provide advocacy, education, support, and hope for individuals and families affected by mental health conditions.
