A Marriage is the story of one gay marriage, covering the span of a forty-year relationship. Despite the simplicity of the story, the production concept is anything but ordinary. Through three short acts of three scenes each, the two primary actors rarely leave the stage. A third (male) actor plays all other characters, ranging from an elderly mother, to a teen-age boy, to a therapist who undergoe

s a s*x change operation during her/his tenure as the couple’s counselor. The primary set pieces are back-stage make-up stations, which allow the audience to witness the actors’ transformations. Music highlights the transformations between scenes, acts and years. This is a play about one gay marriage and the time for this play is now.

Wow...I guess I should have used this page to promote my production. I really suck at Social Media. (Also, it largely bothers me.)

You wanna know how long this play has been shelved? Check the last post on this thread. (Well, it tried to live beyond that reading but eventually found its way under my desk.)

TheatreFirst has unearthed it. George MacGuire is whipping it into shape.

We get back on the bike.
