Seeking bisexual, asexual, intersex, and trans* identified people to speak on a "Patient Panel" at the UCSF's annual student-led LGBTQIA Health Forum. The event is directed mostly toward students in the health professions (medicine, nursing, dentistry, physical therapy, pharmacy) and will be held on Saturday, February 25th. The audience is usually around 250-300 people. This is a great way to educate tomorrow's health care professionals about inclusive and sensitive health care. Each panelist will share how their identities have shaped their health care experiences, and then participate in a short discussion and moderated Q&A. The space is wheelchair accessible. Compensation, parking costs, and lunch are provided, and speakers are invited to attend as much of the day's conference as they wish (including the keynote with Bamby Salcedo!).
