Project HEALTH, a program of Lyon-Martin Health Services, aims to improve access to transgender healthcare on a local, state, and national level through education, advocacy, and organizing. The Clinical Rotation in Transgender Medicine at Lyon-Martin Health Services allows future and current healthcare professionals from all over the world to shadow experts in transgender health provision at our c

linic in San Francisco, CA. Our in-depth training program offers a variety of training modules to choose from for clinics of all types looking to expand their knowledge and practice of transgender health. Seminars and workshops are also available for schools, employers, and the community. The TransLine is an e-consultation service for providers across the nation to connect with experts in transgender health. It offers a safe space for providers to get their questions answered and build confidence in providing transgender care. The TransLine was founded in 2012 by Lyon-Martin Health Services and is currently staffed by providers at Lyon-Martin, Fenway Health, The Mazzoni Center, and Chase Brexton Health Care. Reposting:

Seeking bisexual, asexual, intersex, and trans* identified people to speak on a "Patient Panel" at the UCSF's annual student-led LGBTQIA Health Forum. The event is directed mostly toward students in the health professions (medicine, nursing, dentistry, physical therapy, pharmacy) and will be held on Saturday, February 25th. The audience is usually around 250-300 people. This is a great way to educate tomorrow's health care professionals about inclusive and sensitive health care. Each panelist will share how their identities have shaped their health care experiences, and then participate in a short discussion and moderated Q&A. The space is wheelchair accessible. Compensation, parking costs, and lunch are provided, and speakers are invited to attend as much of the day's conference as they wish (including the keynote with Bamby Salcedo!).

Here is more about the event: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/9th-annual-ucsf-lgbtqia-health-forum-tickets-31111120198 Interested?

Please send a few sentences about yourself, and any questions, to [email protected] by 1/28. Thanks!
