Calle 24 Latino Cultural District Calle 24 is a 501-C3, its 19 member council is elected by its members.

We, the residents, merchants, and service providers of Calle 24, are working together in a collaborative effort, to create a healthy environment to work, live, and play, and to preserve the unique beauty and culture that is the trademark of Calle 24 and the Mission.

✨🎉 What a beautiful day celebrating nuestra cultura at the Latin Heritage Celebration in Union Square!

Thank you to everyone who joined Calle 24 Latino Cultural District last weekend to celebrate the music, dance, and traditions that make our comunidades so vibrant. From the incredible performances by Bahereque, Sin Fronteras Dreams, and Batuki, to seeing families, visitors, and community members come together, it was a reminder that nuestra cultura sigue viva y fuerte. ❤️🌎

Gracias a everyone who danced, cheered, and shared this special day with us. Bringing the energy and diversity of Latin America to the heart of San Francisco is always an honor. Thank you to , and for your support.

Meet your ‘El Corazón de la Misión Baila’, Samba instructor, Mayela Carrasco. Mayela is a dance professional, choreographer, director, and multidisciplinary artist whose work is deeply rooted in cultural traditions and movement techniques.
With over 15 years of experience in performance, training, and arts education, she is dedicated to developing strong technique, musicality, conditioning, and artistic expression in her students. Her classes blend rigorous training with cultural knowledge, creating an empowering environment where dancers can grow both technically and creatively.
