We are excited to launch a new monthly meetup for parents and caregivers of young kids — and their little ones — who live in NOPA. Our first meetup is on Sat, Feb 7 in the Panhandle Playground Picnic Area. There will also be an overflow area west of the playground fence, intended for parents of babies who aren’t yet walking if the playground gets too crowded and we need space to spread out. We’ll provide Bobs Donuts as well as coffee, graciously donated from our friends at Slow Street Coffee, plus some healthier snacks for the kids.

Hot off the press:

The Oak Street Quick Build is approved!!!! Thanks to everyone who engaged in this long outreach process, either via NOPNA or directly with the city.

Project construction will be done in chunks and coordinated with an already-planned full repave of Oak Street. So just a warning to have some patience - it will be awhile before the whole thing is complete.
