A little over year ago, the Citywide HUD Alliance brought the fight for dignity straight to City Hall.

Families were tired of living in conditions in desperate need of basic repair while negligent landlords faced zero accountability from the city.

They demanded Mayor Lurie step away from his desk and come visit their developments to speak directly with residents and experience the conditions first hand.

Over a year later, while there has been some movement, the core issues remain.

Over the coming weeks, the CityWide HUD Alliance is launching a story series documenting what our communities have been through, where things stand today, and why the fight for real accountability and dignity is far from over.

~Stay tuned & share to spread the word.~
