At Pride, God is present in every act of welcome, every blessing, every embrace, and every reminder to LGBTQ+ people that they are beloved children of God.

God shows up through houses of faith that march, congregations that open their doors, clergy who stand in solidarity, parents who offer hugs, and faith communities that proclaim love louder than fear.

✨ Our sanctuary is set, the candles are lit, and the space is ready for YOU. ✨

Take a look at the photos of our chancel prepared for this Sunday.

Our theme is “Resistance in Visibility.” We aren't just talking about being seen—we have physically created a space where your full, beautifully complex LGBTQ+ identity is celebrated and sacralized right at the altar. From the hand-painted gender symbols to the pride flags beneath our stained glass, our sanctuary is a vibrant declaration that visibility is a holy act of resistance. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️✊🏽

Come step out of the shadows and into the light with us.

Special Guest: Lynne Ge**er, co-creator of the Peabody Award-winning podcast When We All Get To Heaven, offering our "Resistance in Action Moment."

Join us in person or via Zoom. MCC San Francisco is located at Trinity-St. Peter's Episcopal Church in St. Mary's Chapel at 1620 Gough St. (at Bush) San Francisco, CA 94109

VISIBILTY IS OUR HOLY RESISTANCE!

In a world that often demands we blend in or quiet down, simply showing up as our full, beautiful, LGBTQ+ selves is a radical act of faith. Systems of oppression thrive on isolation and secrecy—but we counter that by choosing to be seen.

DON'T HIDE YOUR LIGHT!

When we step out of the shadows, we create a map for others to find community, solidarity, and healing. Shine bright, refuse to be erased, and carry your light proudly into the world.

Join us this Sunday, June 14 at 9 AM, either in person or via Zoom.

Diversity is not a flaw in God's creation.

Diversity is God's design.

Different races.
Different identities.
Different abilities.
Different life experiences.

When we embrace the beautiful diversity of God's people, we catch a glimpse of heaven.

God knew exactly what God was doing when God created you.

LIVE OUT LOUD EVERYDAY UNAPOLOGICALLY!

DON’T HIDE YOUR LIGHT!

In a world that often demands we blend in or quiet down, simply showing up as our full selves is a radical act of faith.

This Sunday, June 14 at 9 AM, we continue our Sacred Resistance: Faith in Action series by diving into Matthew 9:35-10:23. We’ll look at how Jesus sends his followers into the world with no armor and no safety net—just their raw visibility and a mandate to make love tangible.

We are weaving this ancient text together with a powerful story from LGBTQ+ history—looking at how breaking the silence during the AIDS crisis became the first step toward collective healing.

Special Guest Alert: We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Lynne Ge**er, co-creator of the Peabody Award-winning podcast When We All Get To Heaven, who will be sharing her "Resistance in Action Moment" this week!

During times like these, when systems of oppression rely heavily on our isolation, shining our light very bright isn’t just a nice idea. Visibility is our holy resistance.
