WHY INVEST IN BULGARIA?
Here are some key factors:

1) Political and business stability. Bulgaria is a member of the European Union, NATO and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

2) Stable currency supported by the currency board, pe***ng the Bulgarian lev to the Euro at the level of 1.96.

3) Bulgaria has one of the lowest government debts in the European Union (19.7 % of GDP) and one of the lowest budget deficits (2%)

4) Bulgaria has the most favorable tax regime in Europe. The corporate income tax rate is 10%, the lowest in the EU. Personal income tax is 10 %, flat rate.

5) There is a 2-year VAT exemption for imports of equipment for investment projects over €5 million, creating at least 50 jobs.

6) Depreciation time for computers and new manufacturing equipment is 2 years.

7) 5% withholding tax on dividends and liquidation quotas (0% for EU tax residents).

8) Bulgaria has one of the most competitive costs of labor in Central and Eastern Europe.

9) Bulgaria is a strategic logistics hub. The convenience of transportation of cargo is provided by Five Pan-European corridors. Four major airports: Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, and Burgas. Two main seaports: Varna and Burgas. Numerous ports along the Danube River

10) Work force is well educated, highly skilled and multilingual.

It is a movie that depicts the lives of a group of high school friends during the Communist Regime in Bulgaria, and it reveals the challenges and opportunities they endured and embraced during the transition times of social and political change. It is a documentary of my generation of Bulgarians who dreamed, believed, and fought against the system for a better tomorrow and a brighter future for generations to come.
