Guided Walk through the Presidio Main Post and Picnic
Saturday June 27 at 10am at the Presidio
$20 Tickets are required for the walk via Eventbrite. Limited to 30 people so act fast! Exact meeting location will be shared with ticket owners through Eventbrite.
After the walk we will join together at the park for food, fun, and sisterhood. Families are welcome! If you can't join the walk, still come join us for the potluck picnic. Bring something simple to share.
About the walk: Historian and retired park ranger John Martini guides a walk through the Main Post of the Presidio of San Francisco. The Presidio encompasses more history than any other site within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. On this easy walk, you'll learn about the Ohlone people, Spanish colonists, 1906 Earthquake and Fire refugees, Buffalo Soldiers, Japanese Internment, and a dizzying variety of military architecture. Highlights of this mile-long walk include the Presidio Officers Club and Heritage Center, the Inn at the Presidio, the San Francisco Film Institute, and the Presidio Tunnel Tops.

AI Tutorial - What it is and how to get the most out of it
Tuesday July 14 at 6pm at the Compass office, 3512 16th Street SF.
Join us for an approachable conversation about AI with Marissa Dulaney, Nu Alpha. This casual session is designed for anyone who’s curious about AI - whether you’re a complete beginner feeling overwhelmed by all the buzz, or someone already using AI tools who wants to sharpen your understanding and exchange ideas with others. We’ll cover what AI really is (and isn’t), what kinds of tools are available, and practical lessons learned from using AI in both personal and professional life.
Beyond learning, this is also a chance to reconnect, build sisterhood, and get to know fellow alumnae in a relaxed setting. Drinks will be provided.
About the speaker: Marissa Dulaney is a Stanford graduate and Nu Alpha Chi Omega alumna with more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Over the past year, she has been advising tech companies while also using AI extensively to build her own app.
Thank you to Christine for offering her Compass office space. The office is easily accessible by Muni, being just off Market Street, central in the city.

Wine Tasting in Healdsburg
Saturday August 22 at 11am - Please here or to [email protected] RSVP for details!
Join us for a fun summer afternoon of food, wine tasting, conversation, and sisterhood. We’ll begin with a picnic-style potluck lunch from 11am–12pm graciously hosted by Jennifer Curtin, Iota Alpha, at her home and backyard barn at 221 East Street (between Mill & Matheson). There is plenty of street parking nearby.
After lunch, we’ll take a short walk through downtown Healdsburg and the Plaza to our first tasting at GrapeSeed Winery at 12:30pm, located inside the beautiful Paul Mahder Gallery. We’ll enjoy small-production wines surrounded by contemporary art — including Northern California’s largest moss wall.
Our second tasting begins at 2pm at Selby Winery, where we’ll enjoy award-winning wines in their lovely outdoor courtyard. Selby Winery is owned by Susie Selby, a fellow Chi Omega from Vanderbilt (Sigma Epsilon).
Healdsburg is about 1–1.5 hours north of San Francisco depending on traffic, and some Sisters may choose to use SMART Train plus Uber/Lyft, designate a driver, or make a weekend getaway out of the trip by staying overnight downtown (more details can be provided on that later).
This event is for Sisters-Only, ages 21+.
RSVP to [email protected] so we know you are coming, we can coordinate potluck, and we can set up carpooling as needed.

Bag and Toiletries Collection for Larkin Street Youth
Wednesday September 23 at 6pm, SF location TBD
Join us for an opportunity to give back to Bay Area youth in need while connecting in sisterhood and community. We will be collecting bags and essential toiletries to support Larkin Street Youth Services, a San Francisco organization that helps young adults ages 18–24 experiencing or at risk of homelessness access housing support, shelter, healthcare, education, and other critical services.
Particularly needed items include duffel bags, backpacks, and small luggage. For many youth, these bags become their only safe way to carry and store personal belongings, and some young people currently rely on trash bags because they have nothing else. Backpacks are also especially important for youth attending school or job programs.
We will also be collecting new and unopened toiletries such as travel-size shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, and other hygiene essentials. Travel-size items are especially helpful.
All donations collected will be delivered directly to Larkin Street Youth Services. More details about requested items, donation logistics, and the social gathering portion of the event will be shared closer to the event date.
We hope you’ll join us to support an important local organization while spending meaningful time together as sisters.
RSVP to [email protected] so we know you are coming or interested in attending.
If you didn't get it in your email & would like to be added, please email us at [email protected]
We hope to see you at an upcoming event!
