best hats ever!

T & S (aka Teri Sage & Serena Tinio) have worked side by side for over 8 years and share a love for reviving and re-assembling special bits and pieces dug up from dusty attics, trunks, and flea markets to create ornate and richly textured wearable works of art. Their hat business- T.S. I Love You was masterminded in 2008 after S returned from a long jaunt through South East Asia with 100 lbs of inspiration in her treasure box—most notably the meticulously hand-stitched hats from the Hmong people of Laos. It was the combination of these Hmong spirit animal hats, a nostalgia for cloche fashions of the 20’s and 30’s, and a modern urban influence that sparked the concept for T.S. I Love You.

Specializing in hats for men and women ranging from casual everyday wear to lavish costume or elegant night time formal wear. Both Teri and Serena live and have sewing studios on a marina in Oakland, where their creations come to life. Each T.S. I Love You hat is a one of a kind, hand-crafted piece assembled from fancy remnants, trims and treasures. Their hats can be found at selected bay area trunk shows or you can place custom orders through their website: tsiloveyouhats.com
