Sunset YOUTH Services "Fostering long-term stability and growth for in-risk youth, young adults and families through caring

For 30 years, Sunset Youth Services has served as extended family to over 6,000 young people by helping fill in the gaps in their lives - gaps that are often painfully extensive. We provide Case Management and Campus Mentoring for juvenile offenders, a Youth Center, Artistic Expression Program and UpStar Records, Incentives for Education, Life Skills, food pantry, and family crisis support. Our model of providing one-on-one positive support from caring adults helps youth view themselves as valuable contributors to society and engages them in learning to serve their community rather than exploit it. Many children look to our staff as surrogate parents who help foster resilience and promote self-efficacy while facilitating core educational, social and emotional growth.
