The TBI Research Studies Registry was developed by researchers at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in order to identify potential participants for TBI studies including STEMTRA, a stem cell research study for TBI, and for future clinical research studies of other interventions for TBI. Each individual study may have a follow-up period to assess the effects of the treatments. Some

examples of tests that may be used to determine eligibility and the effects of the treatment for individual studies are CT and MRI scans, blood tests, and physical exams.
